Ciara and Russell Wilson are celebrating a special day for their oldest son, Future Zahir.
The couple took to their respective Instagram pages to honor the preteen as he turns 12.
Wilson was first to post a message for the birthday boy.
“Happy birthday Future!!! We’re so proud of the young man you are! I can’t believe you’re already 12 years old. God only has abundance in store for you!” he wrote.
He continued by celebrating Future’s personality and the bond he shares with his younger siblings.
“You’re an incredible son, best friend, and you are the BEST big brother! You continue to impress us more every day and it brings us so much joy to watch you grow! We love you so much!!!”
Ciara later shared her own birthday tribute for her son.
“The Big Boy is 12 today! What a blessing! Future, you are sweetest, smartest, most loving, and talented son any parent could hope for! You bring light and love to every room and anyone you meet!” she wrote.
The singer continued, “We are incredibly proud of the young man you’re becoming! Keep soaring sunshine. Happy Birthday! We love you so much!”
Wilson jumped into the comments section under Ciara’s post and added, “The Sweetest!”
The birthday messages quickly drew reactions from fans in the comments section, with many praising Wilson for the relationship he has built with Future over the years.
“THIS Man @dangerusswilson. But God! Keep Blessing this man, he’s the Dad EVERY child should have had!” one follower wrote. “I’m 60 but the little Kim wish my father could have loved me and my sister like this.”
Another supporter added, “Thank you Mr Wilson for also being a best Dad to our young man, happy birthday Future.”
Future Zahir is Ciara’s oldest child. The singer welcomed him in 2014 with rapper Future. She later married Wilson in 2016, and together they are also parents to daughters Sienna and Amora and son Win.
