Sam Frost stepped out Australian Fashion Week looking every inch the image of high fashion – but she says she’s still very much a “Lilydale bogan” at heart.
Frost, 37, has moved from the Sydney glamour bubble back to her roots in Melbourne where she’s a mum to Ted, three, and Bobby, one, and fiancée to Jordie Hansen.
These days she lives a “quieter lifestyle” so Frost’s 24 hour whirlwind at 2026 fashion week was “frazzling” until one moment changed everything.
“By the time I got to the Shark Beauty Glow Salon, I was a bit dazed but they were so lovely and accommodating and did my hair in a great blowout,” Frost told nine.com.au.
“It was exactly how I wanted to go into an event because I can be anxious about these things.”
Australian Fashion Week isn’t the only event the Cracking On podcast host has to get glam for.
She and her long-term partner Hansen are set to marry in February 2027 after four years together, the birth of their two children and many postponements.

While Frost loves the pizzaz of fashion, she’s a grounded girl at heart and wants to carry that into her wedding celebrations.
“We’re just doing it in our backyard. We’ve planned a couple of things and I’ve chosen a dress,” she said.
“We’re super laid back. We’ll probably get a food truck in our driveway.”
Frost and Hansen, a former Survivor contestant, have been together since 2022.
While they are now a picture-perfect family of four, Frost’s brother wasn’t exactly playing matchmaker at the start considering Hansen was a close friend.
”My brother thought it was super weird,” Frost laughed.
“I told him ‘that guy [Hansen] is kind of hot’ and he was like ‘yuck Sam don’t be gross. He’s actually a really genuine guy and good friend so please don’t ruin it.’
“I said ‘I’m not going to!’ Then I slid into those DMs and the rest is history.”
With two kids in tow, it’s safe to say Frost held up her end of the bargain as far as not ruining the friendship!
