The 57-year-old actress and Jim recently celebrated the one-year mark in their relationship, and the loved-up couple are loving life together.
A source told People: “It’s a great partnership and makes Jen very happy.
“Jim’s a special guy. Everyone loves his energy.”
Jennifer is “incredibly focused on work right now”, as she’s busy shooting season five of The Morning Show, her hit Apple TV series. But Jim has proven to be “very supportive” of the Hollywood star through a particularly busy period in her career.
The insider explained: “They both have a lot going on professionally but make time for each other during the week whenever they can.
“They have a tight group of friends that they both enjoy spending time with.
“Jen’s very grateful for her life, and Jim came into it at a really good time. Their initial friendship made their relationship feel much more genuine from the start.”
Last year, a source revealed that Jennifer – who is perhaps best known for playing Rachel Green in Friends – felt “excited” by her relationship with Jim.
The movie star celebrated Thanksgiving with the hypnotherapist, and at the time, Jennifer felt excited to see where their relationship might go in the months and years ahead of them.
A source told People: “Jen celebrated Thanksgiving with Jim and her usual friend group. They always get together and cook, play games and have the best time.
“Jim fits right in with her friends. Everything in her life has come together and she’s excited about it.”
The Hollywood star – who was previously married to actor Brad Pitt – also feels “confident” with Jim.
Jennifer decided to make their relationship Instagram official because she could see a long-term future with Jim.
The insider shared: “She’s comfortable letting people see a bit more of a relationship that feels truly grown-up and good.
“She knows people have always rooted for her to find love, and now that she’s in a happy place, she wants to share that.”
