Who stars in Verity?
Anne Hathaway portrays lead character, world renowned author, Verity Crawford. Her charming husband, Jeremy Crawford, is played by Josh Hartnett and the struggling writer who enters their lives, Lowen Ashleigh, is played by Dakota Johnson.

What will the Verity film be about?
According to the official logline, “Upon arrival at the lavish Crawford estate, Lowen slowly learns that things are not exactly as they seem with the discovery of a secret, unfinished manuscript that may divulge chilling admissions about the family’s past. As Lowen ingratiates herself with Jeremy and his young son Crew, she must discern if Verity’s writings are merely lurid works of fiction or an ominous warning by a deranged psychopath.”
The book is based on Hoover’s self-published novel, released in 2018. It hit the New York Times Best Sellers list for many months.

When will Verity be released?
Verity was initially due for a May release but the studios have today announced we can expect to watch it in theatres from October 2.
