Megan Thee Stallion is working towards being roc steady following her breakup with Klay Thompson.
After the “Roc Steady” rapper confirmed her split from the NBA star, alleging he cheated on her, Megan had an emotional moment during her April 25 Moulin Rouge! performance in New York City.
In a video circulating on social media, the 31-year-old—who is playing Zidler in the Tony Award-winning musical on Broadway for an 8-week run—can be seen tearing up onstage during the show’s curtain call.
Still in costume, the “Body” hitmaker (real name Megan Jovon Ruth Pete) turned her back to wipe away tears as the audience’s applause grew louder.
In the clip, the show’s background dancers also gave the Grammy winner subtle support by nodding behind her before she turned back towards the audience to deliver a final bow.
Following the “WAP” rapper’s split from Klay, 36, Meg’s hotties proved they have her back.
“How can anyone do any harm to this woman?” read the post’s caption, while another fan wrote in the comments section, “I hope she knows she got 1 million homegirl that love her all over the world.”
