Leonardo DiCaprio sent Nikki Glaser “three baskets of pasta” after she poked fun at him during the 2026 Golden Globe Awards.

Nikki Glaser received pasta from Leonardo DiCaprio

The 41-year-old comic returned to host this year’s ceremony for the second year in a row and she’s revealed she sent flowers to the celebrities she mocked on stage to thank them for being good sports, but only the One Battle After Another “sent something back” to her.

She said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: “After I do it, I always send flowers to everyone that I made fun of that was a good sport about it, which was everyone, just to say thank you because it is a part of why I’m successful at it.”

During the ceremony, Nikki joked about the 51-year-old actor’s tendency to date younger women and called him out for rarely revealing any details about his life to fans.

She said: “That joke’s been going on longer than, you know, his current girlfriend has been alive. It’s truly been around forever.

“There was nothing else to say about him. And then I was like ‘Well, that’s kind of funny,’ so I was like ‘This guy doesn’t reveal anything about himself. Let’s find something he’s revealed.’ “

On stage, Nikki claimed one of the few personal details Leonardo had revealed involved a 1991 interview, in which she shared his favourite food is “pasta, pasta and more pasta”, to which the Titanic actor mouthed “Yes! and gave a thumbs up.

Nikki continued to Jimmy: “And it really was real, and then he sent me three baskets of pasta as a thank you,” she told Fallon. “So funny. So good. And part me of was like ‘Does Leo want to smash?’ “

But the comic insisted the gesture wasn’t a sign Leonardo was making romantic advances towards her.

She added: “The type of girl he goes for, he wouldn’t send pasta to. It was dry pasta. I think the company was Mena Pasta. Spaghetti O’s, maybe, I would have been more his type. A crib full of Dunkaroos and Go-Gurt, I would have been like ‘Oh! He’s into me.’

“He dates young girls. I can’t stop.”

Ahead of the ceremony, Nikki had insisted she wouldn’t make “obvious” jokes about Leonardo.

She told People magazine: “I don’t think I’m going to go with the Leo jokes we’ve heard 25 times. I think we’ve all heard that — that’s been done enough.

“My goal is always to try to not do what’s expected or try to challenge myself to not say the thing that people are going to expect and try something else.”

Nikki admitted finding something to joke about away from the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star’s love life will be a “challenge”.

She added: “That’s going to be the challenge this year, is just finding anything else about him that is right for mockery, but not mockery.

“Also, he’s a legend and was incredible in One Battle [After Another].”
