Ethan Embry Joins Cast Of Prime Video’s ‘Cross’ For Season 3


EXCLUSIVE: Ethan Embry (Scream 7, That Thing You Do) has joined the series regular cast of Prime Video‘s thriller series Cross, from Ben Watkins. Production on Season Three of Cross began Monday, April 13, in Toronto, Canada.

He will play Frederick, a charismatic sobriety coach known for leading with tough love. Strong, resilient, and generous with his time, he is widely admired for making others feel seen.

Cross, based upon characters created by James Patterson, is a Washington, DC based crime drama that follows Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge), a brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the minds of serial killers in order to identify and catch them.

Season 2 followed Cross in pursuit of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates.

Renewed for a third season, the hit thriller will continue to expand the high-stakes world of its iconic character, building on its gripping storytelling and powerful performances.

Cross is created by showrunner and executive producer Ben Watkins and produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios. Season Two was executive produced by Craig Siebels, James Patterson, Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, Aiyana White, J. David Shanks, Owen Shiflett, Bill Robinson, Patrick Santa, and Aldis Hodge.

Embry will next be seen starring in the film By Any Means opposite Mark Wahlberg and directed by Elegance Bratton. He can also be seen in the Christy Martin biopic Christy alongside Sydney Sweeney and in the films Scream 7, Alma and the Wolf, The Gymnast, and opposite Gerard Butler in the Voltage film, Chase. He also starred in Damien Chazelle’s First Man for Universal, Can’t Hardly Wait, Timeline, Sweet Home Alabama, That Thing You Do!, and Empire Records.

On TV, he was seen opposite Daveed Diggs and Janina Gavankar in Lionsgate’s Blindspotting, Netflix’s Grace & Frankie opposite Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, recurred on ABC’s Once Upon a Time, AMC’s The Walking Dead, and the Showtime series Brotherhood.
