‘Deluxe Ocean View’ Casts Callan McAuliffe, Camryn Manheim, More

EXCLUSIVE: Deluxe Ocean View, a psychological horror film penned by She-Hulk actor Ryan Powers that we reported on last August, has reassembled with a new cast and director, with production now underway on Cape Cod.

In addition to Powers, Callan McAuliffe (Greyhound 2), Camryn Manheim (The Practice), Henry Ian Cusick (Lost), and Ray Campbell (Breaking Bad) are now set to star, with Laurence Vannicelli (Mother, May I?) directing.

Set on the icy shores of Massachusetts in the dead of winter, Deluxe Ocean View follows renowned exposé journalist Ethan Everett (McAuliffe), who arrives at a nearly empty luxury resort for a career-saving interview, unaware that the hotel itself may be a malevolent force exposing buried truths before destroying its guests. As the off-season staff and lingering visitors — including the enigmatic owner Vera (Manheim), the watchful manager Oliver (Campbell), the morally layered Simon (Cusick), and the elusive drifter Johnny (Powers) — draw Ethan into a psychological maze of guilt and repression, the boundary between reality and nightmare begins to erode.

Powers is also producing under his banner R U Mad At Me Productions alongside Emmy nominee Jason B. Stamey (WandaVision, Avengers: Endgame) and Ellyn Vander Wyden (One Course with JB Smoove). Bradley Bredeweg (The Fosters, Good Trouble), who had previously been attached to direct, serves as executive producer.

McAuliffe is repped by Prototype Talent, Affirmative Entertainment, and Felker Toczek Suddleson; Manheim by Innovative Artists, Framework Entertainment, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman; Cusick by Buchwald, Sequel Management, Luber Roklin, and Lichter, Grossman, Nichols; Campbell by Entertainment Lab and Imperium 7; and Vannicelli by Zero Gravity Management. The producers are repped by Lastine Entertainment Law.
